Day Seven - June 27, 2009

Two posts at once! Good gravy.
It's funny, what I'd written in my journal is so much shorter... but I made up for writing about it the following day.

That day, I met Lisa, who is another Virgo-- we clicked immediately. It was like we'd known each other for much longer than just having met that day. We met her brother for lunch at her brother's place-- they were trying to set him up with "nice Filipina girls" ... Right, okay. Haha. I accidentally left my sunglasses there (the ones I purposely purchased for this crazy trip of ours) and well, I have yet to get them back, but I will manage somehow. :)

Afterwards, we somehow ended up at Yakiniku, which is a teppanyaki place that Lisa's dad partly owns-- I didn't find out that fact until we had completed our meal. :P It was delicious, and I think our chef did the onion volcano because I kept rambling about it. ;)

We then headed back to Lisa's place, I borrowed a blue top for the evening, and somehow we ended up at a Filipino pageant.
(We thought we might be going to a club of sorts, we weren't sure).

Unfortunately, the contestant we were cheering on didn't quite win, but it was entertaining for me, because I saw all these Filipinos doing what Filipinos do naturally-- linedancing. :P

Tito Rodger and I, however, ballroom danced.

And I never felt happier.

There, of course, was an after-party, but I'll skip all the lovely details (and possible drama) and just say that my tolerance has seriously gone up and it took me about 8.5 drinks to get me mostly gone. As in, hi, I was drunk at Waffle House at 5 AM and being a complete pain in the ass. ... ._.

We passed out on our host's floor (he's a good bartender, btw) and ah, I really need to get one of those lovely Ikea things...

Anyway, pictures. XD

:D

FI-YAH.

"I know it's not good for me, but it's so tasty..." (Just like Paula Deen's...).

My lovers, apparently. LOL.

Happiness. :)

One more post to go...

Then where else will this blog lead?

Indeed.
