Life, where are you going?

What is even happening anymore?

Mind and body are worn out.

I need to gather all the pieces back together.

Monday, August 17, 2009

And so, tomorrow, it all begins.

I have never wanted more in my life at this moment than to just relax.

Tomorrow I may or may not be starting my internship,
but either way, I really enjoyed my summer and will look fondly back on it,
up's, down's, everywhere, everything.

I start to wonder if perhaps this is what Haruhi must have felt,
but then, I'm ready to go on.

Here's to the rest of the year, and whatever it may bring!

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

I've said this in far too many blogs over the years, but

There is no rest for the wicked.

Somehow I feel I understand that all the more, now.

I only have more answers?

“If she says, ‘It just happened,’ I’m going to kill her.”
It just happened.
“… Augh.”

Sunday, August 9, 2009

I'm not really sure what's going on in life anymore.

But no one really can.

In any case, I need some rest.

Good night.

(They build buildings, oh)

Day Eight - June 28. 2009

The last day!

We came home. XD

The End.

:P

We'd left a lot later than I thought; it's okay though.

Haha, when we finally arrived back in Gainesville,
apparently all of L.A.'s friends were at Mochi.

Me and Allen: "MOCHI!"
L.A.: "Do you want to go?"
Me and Allen: "NO!"

LOL.

Actually, he and Allen went.
I'd wanted to go home.

And thank God I did, in retrospect.

Funny, how life works.

... Indeed.

Ah, all the mini-drama that unfolded...

But that was then, and this is now.

And whatever will happen, will happen.

Here are the last few pictures, hope you've enjoyed reading, whoever you are. :)

Where we stayed in Atlanta, thank you to the Ocampo family :D

Pigtails. ;)

あ。

Now let's see where else this blog will go...

I don't know what I'll put in it, nor who reads it, but maybe I'll still update it from time to time...

Day Seven - June 27, 2009

Two posts at once! Good gravy.
It's funny, what I'd written in my journal is so much shorter... but I made up for writing about it the following day.

That day, I met Lisa, who is another Virgo-- we clicked immediately. It was like we'd known each other for much longer than just having met that day. We met her brother for lunch at her brother's place-- they were trying to set him up with "nice Filipina girls" ... Right, okay. Haha. I accidentally left my sunglasses there (the ones I purposely purchased for this crazy trip of ours) and well, I have yet to get them back, but I will manage somehow. :)

Afterwards, we somehow ended up at Yakiniku, which is a teppanyaki place that Lisa's dad partly owns-- I didn't find out that fact until we had completed our meal. :P It was delicious, and I think our chef did the onion volcano because I kept rambling about it. ;)

We then headed back to Lisa's place, I borrowed a blue top for the evening, and somehow we ended up at a Filipino pageant.
(We thought we might be going to a club of sorts, we weren't sure).

Unfortunately, the contestant we were cheering on didn't quite win, but it was entertaining for me, because I saw all these Filipinos doing what Filipinos do naturally-- linedancing. :P

Tito Rodger and I, however, ballroom danced.

And I never felt happier.

There, of course, was an after-party, but I'll skip all the lovely details (and possible drama) and just say that my tolerance has seriously gone up and it took me about 8.5 drinks to get me mostly gone. As in, hi, I was drunk at Waffle House at 5 AM and being a complete pain in the ass. ... ._.

We passed out on our host's floor (he's a good bartender, btw) and ah, I really need to get one of those lovely Ikea things...

Anyway, pictures. XD

:D

FI-YAH.

"I know it's not good for me, but it's so tasty..." (Just like Paula Deen's...).

My lovers, apparently. LOL.

Happiness. :)

One more post to go...

Then where else will this blog lead?

Indeed.

Day Six - June 26, 2009

How is it already August? Hahaha...

Okay, I need to wrap this up. :P
(It's weird, I have to look in my old Moleskine when so many things have already happened since then...).

So apparently, the vacation mindset really, well, set in for me while in ATL.
It may have been the people, the time on the road...
It really should have hit me what with all the mountains and winding roads,
but I liked being in a new place, with new people.

I'm actually not sure what we did that day...
Ah, right. Looking at the pictures, we apparently had pho for lunch in Little Saigon (Pho Dai Lai II?), visited another H-Mart, and Kuya L.A. made some sushi (off the job :P) for dinner. I also FINALLY got to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Yeah, it took me that long because no one ever asked me.

I think we may have also gone to the "rich" mall that day... Hahaha. ;)

Later on that evening, around 1:30 AM, we saw Transformers 2, on an IMAX screen!

I hadn't seen a movie in IMAX in, oh... Forever. And I'm pretty sure the last one I'd seen was an educational film.
It was very exciting; I felt that the screen was going to eat me. T_T;

Anyway, Optimus Prime is one sexy piece of robot.
Hahaha-- I love this one thing I wrote: "They it's guy porn, but girls can appreciate it, too-- if only guys could appreciate chick flicks the same way T_T;"

Here are what scant photographs were taken, and I think I might even update for the following day. Gasp.

Coraline?

Oh, pho--

Hello Panda! ... I... uhm... I ate them all. In the span of minutes. ...

Such a hard-working man

The delicious end-product :)

Foooood.

Bacon. Snerk.

IMAX.

Now to finally update on another crazy day...
